“Chaos should be regarded as extremely good news.” Chogyam Trungpa
The Pandora Project explores the intersection of mental health, spirituality and experiences of personal crisis. It aspires to be a home for research, writing and dialogue.
Starting from the position that the personal is political, the Pandora Project considers individual breakdown as illustrative of the broader social and environmental emergencies which we face in the 21st century. Experiences of individual crisis offer opportunities for catharsis and healing; likewise, widespread social breakdown may bring with it the emergence of a healthier cultural paradigm.
In the context of transformative learning, individual and social change are both rooted in changes of mindset. We evolve as individuals and as communities when we experience shifts in consciousness. The Pandora Project creates a space for exploring and sharing ideas that will contribute to greater learning and healing. It offers the hope that breakdown means breakthrough, for individual people and for the human family.
